On March 1, the Networking Event (Viaje La Vida) was held especially for international students who are new to IBSBFSU this spring. More than 80 people, including 2024 spring intake students, members from the international students union, and representatives of senior students, participated in the event. New students had ice-breaking games and learned more about IBS.BFSU community in the experience-sharing session.

At the beginning of the event, students sat together in small groups, new and senior students were introduced to each other and got to know each other; after that, each group completed the game of "Timed Pagoda Pile", which further promoted communication and friendship.

In the experience-sharing session, four senior representatives from Italy, Russia, Thailand and Bangladesh shared their lift at IBSBFSU and gave suggestions on dormitory life, course notes, student clubs etc. They also shared Immersion Week and summer social practice experience and answered questions from new students giving them more specific guidance on how to prepare for a new chapter in China.

This networking session strengthened the class cohesion and new students' sense of belonging and identity to IBS.BFSU. The activity not only builds a platform for freshmen and senior students to share and exchange ideas, but also helps inspire new students to find suitable learning methods for themselves and makes them have new goals and directions for their school life and study.
