On August 1^st 2023, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) released an official announcement, which was voted by its Initial Accreditation Committee and approved by its Board of Directors: International Business School (IBS) of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) has been officially accredited by the AACSB, with an accreditation period of five years.

Founded in 1960, AACSB International is a global nonprofit association for the accreditation of international business schools. Through connecting educators, students, and businesses, AACSB aims to create the next generation of great leaders.

Up to now, 950 business schools have passed the AACSB accreditation worldwide, it presents only 5% of the business schools in the world.

The International Business School’s Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of International Financial Management and Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) programs are all accredited by CPA Australia.

CPA Australia is one of the world’s largest accounting professional associations, it aims to provide a globally recognized professional accounting qualification that will help its members become key business leaders.

Obtaining CPA Australia accreditation will help BFSU students to pass CPA Australia’s exams more quickly and conveniently, which will provide them significant support and help for their professional learning and future career development.
