Campus Facilities

BFSU campus facilities offer a modern environment designed to provide students, faculty, and staff with a rich and varied learning and living experience. Facilities include state-of-the-art classrooms, libraries, and research centres that support scholarship and creative exploration. The university emphasises critical thinking, collaboration, and practical exploration, and the faculty team provides a rich teaching and learning experience through multimedia equipment. In addition, the campus is equipped with sports facilities and a gymnasium to promote physical and mental health and social interaction. The goal is to provide a vibrant campus environment for each individual to develop holistically in academic, social, and personal growth.

On-campus dormitories are provided for international students during their study at IBS.BFSU. Various room types satisfy the different demands, including double rooms and single rooms, with or without private bathrooms.

All rooms are equipped with an air conditioner, a radiator, a TV set, a desk, a chair, a bed, and bedding. High-speed internet is available in dormitory rooms at a reasonable charge.

Depending on the room type, daily pay ranges from CNY 40 to 100.

In this six-storey building, more than 2200 seats and 18 study rooms are provided for reading and group work. It has a collection of over 1.5 million volumes of books, more than 2.16 million e-books, 1,123 periodicals, and 102 databases in Chinese and many other foreign languages. Students can search for relevant information and borrow books by logging into the library website. Meanwhile, many lectures and exhibitions are often held in the library.

The on-campus gymnasium offers a wide range of facilities, including a fitness centre, a swimming pool, table tennis, and badminton courts. Nestled within the campus, BFSU outdoor sports complex boasts a variety of maintained sports fields, including a soccer field and several courts suitable for basketball, volleyball, and tennis.

Beyond that, a Gymnasium was constructed to further cater diverse needs of the community. This five-storey construction features an indoor swimming pool, ball-game hall, fitness centre, a multi-functional area, etc; making it a versatile space for various fitness activities and sports.

The gymnasium provides two heated pools for training and teaching purposes. 17 badminton and 8 table tennis courts can be found in the ball-game hall which is equipped with a lounge, grandstand, audio devices, and other facilities to meet the requirements of various professional indoor matches. Multifunctional studios are available for gymnastics classes, martial arts classes, and training for many other group events or activities. The fitness centre provides various gym equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, and dumbbell sets, to name a few, for cardio workouts and strength training.

Various meals are offered in the campus cafeterias. Flavored coffee and tasty cakes can be found in the on-campus cafes. Snacks and fruits are available in the supermarket on the east campus. By food delivery apps, such as "E Le Me" or "Mei Tuan Wai Mai", more choices of cuisines could be easily reached your hands.

Around CNY 50 is the regular pay for three meals per day for dining in the campus cafeterias.
