IBS.BFSU Signed a Strategic Co-operation Memorandum with Pixocial

On 7th March, the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University (IBS.BFSU) and Pixocial, a subsidiary of Meitu Group, held a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on strategic cooperation. At the signing ceremony, IBS.BFSU awarded Pixocial " Enterprise Practice Base". The signing ceremony was attended by Cheng Zunliu, Chief of Staff of Pixocial, Shu Yue, Head of Product Operation & Growth of Pixocial, and Shao Mingxing, Vice Dean of IBS.BFSU, hosted by Wen Wen, Deputy Director of the Domestic Co-operation Office of IBS.BFSU.



Shao Mingxing warmly welcomed the guests from Pixocial. She introduced school in general including curriculum, student internship and employment, and school-enterprise cooperation., Shao also proposed more cooperation possibilities in all aspects of joint talent cultivation and academic research. Shao suggested that the excellent images created by Meitu and the many popular products it has pioneered have helped the industry digitally upgrade through beauty industry solutions, and believed that this cooperation will surely benefit IBS.BFSU faculties and students.


Su Chengyuan, Senior International Program Supervisor of the International Students Office of IBS.BFSU, introduced the international student programmes in IBS.BFSU, which currently has about 600 international students from 103 countries.


Cheng Zunliu said she was very pleased to have the opportunity to establish cooperation with IBS.BFSU. Meitu, the world's leading AI digital content design and productivity tool. As Meitu’s subsidiary, Pixocialhas more than 200 employees in 9 countries and more than 2.5 million paid subscribers. Pixocial focuses on providing innovative AI digital content production solutions for individuals and enterprises in the global market, and is committed to enhancing digital content productivity through AI and further tapping into the aesthetic and creative potential of human beings.


Shu Yue gave a detailed introduction of Pixocial's current business. She introduced several popular APPs of Pixocial in Europe and the US focusing on the field of portrait retouching, analysed the similarities and differences between the APPs and the market at home and abroad, and pointed out that Pixocial is now committed to being a tool to help users amplify their influence on social media. Afterwards, Shu introduced Pixocial's Design+ Programme, with more than 170 designers and artists around the world now cooperating with Pixocial in 33 countries around the world to provide material output. Pixocial puts forward the globalised talent demand of language localisation, content and culture localisation.



Afterwards, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on the direction of future cooperation, signed a memorandum of co-operation and held a ceremony of awarding enterprise practice bases.



Also present at the ceremony were Chen Yuqain, Head of the Domestic Cooperation Office of BFSU, and Dilidar, International Program Supervisor of the International Students Office.
