I am Nico, I spent my semester abroad at BFSU in 2018 and it was an amazing experience. I was able to make friends with people of many different cultures on the campus, our international community felt like a family.

I would love to get back to Beijing to be able to relive those moments and experience all the things the city has to offer again.

Hello! My name is Marc Pilon, and I am a graduate of a dual degree program with Beijing Foreign Studies University and Concordia University of Edmonton here in Canada. I chose this program to pursue my dream of traveling to China, learning the language, their way of life, and how they do business. My expectations with this program were to spend my second and third year studying abroad in Beijing. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I had to restructure my way of life to accommodate to Beijing and its time zone. Although it was a tough experience, it has taught me a strong work ethic that has shaped me into the dedicated worker that I am today.

The school itself has had the greatest professors from all around the world. Each person comes from a different cultural background, which gives you a direct insight into that culture and how they do business. I was very fortunate to have such great guidance throughout my time with IBS.BFSU.

Today I work with a company named Cintas Canada Limited as a Management Trainee, they are a Fortune 500 company, and I am learning the ins and outs of how they operate daily and how to manage a team. I would only have had the opportunities that I have had with my time with BFSU and would recommend the school to anyone looking for a new experience and the education of a lifetime
