The External Affairs Department manages the IBS Union's relationships with outside organisations, sponsors, and service providers. This Department favours those who are fluent in Chinese with decent English-speaking skills.

The Events Department is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of IBS Union events. Events members must possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The Sports Department oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all sporting events and clubs.

The Finance Department oversees all monetary aspects of the IBS Union’s operations, including budgeting, contacting suppliers, managing invoices reimbursements, inventory management, and financial reporting. This department ensures fiscal responsibility, transparency, and resource availability for all Union activities.

The Media Department oversees all multimedia content creation and distribution. Media Departments are required to capture, produce high-quality photos and craft written and digital materials, and manage our social media presence across multiple platforms.
