2024 I-CEE Student Case Competition Successfully Held

On August 31, the 4th I-CEE Student Case Competition, organized by the I-CEE Center of International Business School at Beijing Foreign Studies University, successfully concluded online.


This competition comprised two stages: the preliminary rounds and the finals. Since its launch in May, a total of 90 teams from 106 universities around the world registered to participate, representing 45 different countries and involving 358 students.


After intense competition in the preliminary rounds, 16 teams advanced to the finals. The final round featured 10 prominent professors and business representatives from both domestic and international institutions, including Hotelschool The Hague, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, FNHW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Minzu University of China, Hoffman Beijing, Jarvis Tech Inc and TECNO. These judges provided professional and detailed feedback to the students.


In the end, Team NL, composed of students from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, SRH Haarlem University of Applied Sciences, and Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, won the first prize in the English group. The team "WXYZ" from Beijing Foreign Studies University received the first prize in the Chinese group.


The competition engaged students in simulating management decisions, fostering their abilities to identify, analyze, and solve real-world business problems. It also facilitated communication and exchange among students from different schools and countries, offering them valuable opportunities to showcase their abilities and cultivate a global perspective. Additionally, the competition contributed to strengthening collaboration with domestic and international partners, further enhancing the international influence of IBS.BFSU.
