Beijing Foreign Studies University

Beijing Foreign Studies University, or BFSU, is one of China's top universities under the direct administration of the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE). It is listed under Project 211 and the Double First-Class Project of China.

International Business School

Affiliated to BFSU, International Business School (IBS.BFSU) is one of the most internationalized business schools in China with approximately 1,400 Chinese students and 600 international students from 103 countries studying together.IBS.BFSU offers internationalized business curricula coupled with language study. International students can choose to take business courses either in English or Chinese. Students enrolled in the English-taught program undertake Mandarin language from the beginner level, while those in the Chinese-taught program take intensive English language courses.

2. Scholarship Information

● Scholarship type: Full (Travelling expenses at your own expense)

● Coverage:

(1) Tuition fee: exempted

(2) Accommodation fee: free student dormitory provided by the university (normally double rooms). The students under this program may also rent apartments in China, in which case BFSU will provide each student RMB 700 per month as subsidy.

(3) Living allowance in China: RMB 3,000/month.

(4) Comprehensive medical insurance in China

● Non-Chinese citizenship with a valid passport;

● Applicants should be under the age of 35;

● Has obtained undergraduate degree with excellent grades;

● Proof of qualified language proficiency

Chinese taught - Finance Major:

HSK 6 overall score of at least 180 with each subject over 60 points

English Taught - International Business Major: IETLS 6.5 / TOEFL IBT 88 / TOEIC 800  

(or other proof of equivalent language level)

● Notarized copy of graduation certificate/pre-graduation certificate

● Copy of academic transcripts

● Proof of Chinese or English language proficiency

● Copy of the bio page of a valid ordinary passport (with validity no later than December 2025)

● Physical Examination Record for Foreigner

● Non-criminal Record Report
