The Alumna Jiang Jiachi Shared “Career Planning” with IBS Students

On May 9th, the International Business School held the activity with the theme of "Practical Learning Project"——"Career Planning".  Jiang Jiachi,the alumna of Grade 2006 and previously worked in Mars Food Co., Ltd,was invited to share her experience with students. The sharing meeting was hosted by Wen Wen, the Deputy Director of the Domestic Cooperation Office.

Jiang Jiachi focused on the consumer market insight in the marketing departmenthad for nearly ten years after rotating jobs in various departments of Mars. She used to be deputy director of Mars global brand insight and media optimization, and also has rich experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry(FMCG). First, she explained the characteristics of FMCG industry, the work content of each subdivision function of FMCG company, and then introduced the quality and ability required to work. Finally, Jiang Jiachi hopes that students could deeply think about their own interests before entering the workplace, find their career directions that could keep them self-motivated, and always kept reviewing and rethinking after work.

In order to encourage outstanding undergraduates who have spare time to actively participate in practical teaching activities and effectively enhance their employment competitiveness, International Business School has decided to implement the "Undergraduate Student Practice Program" (USPP). USPP project, which is carried out for junior and senior students, is composed of two modules: "Career Planning" and "Enterprise Visit" . IBS will regularly invite representatives of well-known enterprises or alumni to come to the school for career sharing and career planning guidance, and contact cooperative enterprises in Beijing to organize students to visit the companies. The Dean of Students Office, Student Affairs Office and Domestic Cooperation Office of IBS are jointly responsible for the project planning and management.
