On September 17-20, Huayong Niu, dean of the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University, visited the Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE), and was received by Dr. Valerie Henitiuk, vice-president of CUE; Dr. Alison Yacyshyn, dean of the Mihalcheon school of management. On the morning of September 18, both sides engaged in meaningful discussions pertaining to further cooperations on the “1+2+1” double-degree programs, Chinese language studies in BFSU Foshan Campus, and short-term non-degree projects in Beijing campus. Niu also introduced the campus life which two newly-enrolled CUE students are currently experiencing in the International Business School, BFSU.
At noon, Niu delivered a keynote speech to the faculties and students of CUE.
In the afternoon, Niu introduced the “1+2+1” double-degree program to four classes of students, including its requirements, majors, accomodation and campus activities.
