From July 5th to 7th, the 9th Asia-Pacific Translators and Interpreters Forum (APTIF9) was held in Seoul, South Korea. The Korean Association of Translators and Interpreters (KATI), jointly with Graduate School of Interpreting & Translation (GSIT) at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) hosted this event. Prof. Wen Ren, dean of the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation of BFSU, was invited to the forum.
During the forum, BFSU was elected to host the 10th Asia-Pacific Translation and Interpreting Forum in 2022.
Prof. Wen Ren played the official introduction video of BFSU and expounded the history and development of cultivating excellent translators and interpreters in BFSU. He said BFSU was determined to host the event successfully and welcomed all APTIF members to present at the next forum in Beijing.
