Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) is a member of Universities Canada (UC) and the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS). Consistent with provincial legislation, Concordia University of Edmonton guarantees that the principles of institutional quality assurance in Canadian higher education are maintained.

Concordia University of Edmonton continues its evolution into a dynamic and forward-thinking postsecondary institution. It is governed by goals and strategies that make it an important small liberal-arts university, with a suite of robust professional programs. It is an innovative, responsive, and creative institution seeking a pre-eminent provincial, national, and international reputation. Its 96-year history makes it one of the oldest postsecondary institutions in the province of Alberta, with a rich tradition and excellent reputation.

CUE has been granting both three- and four-year undergraduate degrees in Arts, Science and Management since 1987, along with (after-) degrees in Education and Environmental Health, masters' degrees and graduate certificates and diplomas. Established in 1921, the park-like campus, located on Treaty 6 land on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, is a tight-knit community, with small class sizes that encourage participation and interaction with professors and peers.

CUE’s commitment to the quality of student life provides tremendous opportunities for a student’s intellectual, social, and physical growth.  While the campus community is primarily from the Edmonton capital region and rural Alberta, including Indigenous learners, CUE welcomes students from all Canadian provinces and territories, as well as from over 35 different countries from around the world.  This student diversity, coupled with opportunities for international study with our 40+ international university partners, makes CUE the right choice for an outstanding university experience, and positions CUE to become Canada’s pre-eminent small university.
