    From November 24 to 26, President Peng Long headed a BFSU delegation to visit Brazil. During the visit, the delegation visited the University of Sao Paulo (USP) and signed a cooperation agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding to promote further cooperation and exchanges. They also attended the inaugural ceremony for BFSU Alumni Association in Brazil.

    In the afternoon of Nov. 24, President Peng met with Song Yang, Consul General of Chinese Consulate-General in Sao Paulo & a BFSU alumnus, as well as other BFSU alumni working at the Consulate-General.

    On Nov. 25, the delegation paid a visit to the University of Sao Paulo (USP), and had a meeting with Maurício da Silva Baptista, Deputy Director of the USP International Cooperation Office, and other USP officials. The two sides signed a MoU and an Agreement to further academic cooperation and exchanges between BFSU and USP. According to the Agreement, the two sides shall carry out cooperation in the field of teacher and student exchanges, joint research, joint organization of academic and cultural activities, information and academic resource sharing as well as joint curriculum development.

    On Nov. 26, the inaugural ceremony for BFSU Alumni Association in Brazil was held in Rio, the first Chinese university alumni association in Latin America.
